UNLOCK THE ANDROID BOOTLOADER - UNLEASH YOUR PHONE'S BEAST ;)
Let me tell you guys that if you want to install a Custom recovery and a custom rom or a Custom Kernel , for all these things you need to unlock your phone's bootloader. In other easy words you can say that your phone is a caged in a cage called bootloader and you need to unlock or break the cage in order to perfrom all these things! OK pals, now head over to this article and learn how to unlock your bootloader.
REQUIREMENTS:-
1) An android device to unlock
2) A PC or Laptop or Mac
3) Proper ADB AND FASTBOOT drivers installed properly( google for your device model)
4) A proper backup of all your photos and other necessary files because this process will wipe your device
5) An intelligent mind for sure ;)
CAUTION:
THIS METHOD WILL WIPE YOUR DEVICE IN ORDER TO PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION BECAUSE IT IS FIXED BY THE DEVELOPERS OF ANDROID. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR WARRANTY FOR YOUR O.E.M. SO I RECOMMEND YOU TO DO IT AFTER WARRANTY IS OVER! AND I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEM BUT IF OCCURS YOU CAN CONTACT ME ON MY EMAIL!! ;)
STEPS~
1) Make sure that your device is charged to 90 or above.
2) Go to settings>about phone>build number and tap it several times until you see a message telling you're a developer now!!
3) You will see that developer options settings has appeared!
Open these settings.
4) Turn on this and mainly don't forget to turn on ALLOW OEM UNLOCKING because this gives you the permission to unlock the bootloader!!
5) And finally make sure following are turned on!
*Make sure that you've turned on Developer options , and then OEM UNLOCKING and last is USB debugging.
6) Go to the folder of ADB on your computer or Laptop and do SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK and open the command window.
3) You will see that developer options settings has appeared!
Open these settings.
4) Turn on this and mainly don't forget to turn on ALLOW OEM UNLOCKING because this gives you the permission to unlock the bootloader!!

7) After opeing type following code to make sure that your device is drivers are installed properly. If device is listed then ok.
* adb devices
8) Then in the command window type the following code and hit enter and your device will reboot to fastboot mode.
* adb reboot bootloader
note: fastboot mode is of different UI across different phones!
9) Then type the following code and hit enter this is to make sure proper driver installed or not
* fastboot devices
10) If your device is listed go ahead! Then type the following code and hit enter
*fastboot oem unlock
after typing you'll see prompts on your phone with controls written. These actions are to be controlled with hardware keys of devices. Read the prompt thoroughly and choose which key pressing gives "yes" and VOILLA!! Bootloader is unlocked.

11) After all these, your device bootloader will unlock but by the process phone will be wiped so remember to make a necessary backup!!
At last type the following code to reboot your phone .
* fastboot reboot
THATS ALL FOLKS ON HOW TO UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER AND REMEMBER THIS METHOD IS FOR AOSP RUNNING DEVICES AND IT WON'T WORK ON VIVO, XIAOMI, GIONEE ETC. PHONES!! THERE ARE DIFFERENT METHODS FOR THEM!
